An in-depth course for riggers on how to responsibly build and manage uplines.  This class is for those confident in harness building and rope handling who are ready to start working on static partial suspensions, or experienced riggers who want a review. This class is for individual tyers, not pairs.

As time allows, the class will also look at: neat upline burning, crunching and un-crunching uplines, and other aesthetic considerations.

Prerequisites: All participants must know how to build and assess suspendable harnesses, know risk and safety in rope specific to suspension,  have excellent in-scene communication skills, and have already taken Rope0.

Tools: At least four ropes acceptable for suspension, safety shears,  and something weighted with two straps to use for practice– such as a backpack or duffel bag.
