Temple requires that all presenters fill out a “self-disclosure form” requesting any and all information about past consent violations/ injuries caused/ accountability processes that were initiated, who the process included and what the outcomes were. We ask for multiple references of other organizations where they have taught, and multiple working partners they have had, whether play partners or co-presenters whom we may contact to verify information provided and to ask about their past experiences together. We follow up on the information provided as well as with anyone we know who has direct experience with the presenter to gather as much information as possible before deciding if we feel confident in working with them.

Item descriptionIf you are attending a class that involves rope work with a partner, be sure to wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in. Many people prefer stretchy athletic wear. Lingerie or underwear is acceptable as long as it is relatively easy to maneuver in and does not detract from the tying in ways of maintenance, bulk, or flow.
-
Rope jams (ie. The Hang) are intended to be spaces of play and learning, so the same guidelines of attire for a class apply to rope jams. If one is feeling particularly themselves, feel free to wear something special that still allows for liberal movement. We do not prohibit nudity, so decide at your own comfort level.

We allow service animals only. If you have a service animal you need to bring, please let us know 3 days in advance of your event/workshop so we can make sure that other attendees who may have allergies are also notified.
