Erotic Mindfuckery on the Ace and Demi Spectrums

In this presentation, I treat the brain as the primary erogenous zone. For those on the Ace and Demi spectrums, eroticism is often not a “given” sparked by physical attraction, but a “variable” that can and, in some cases, must be engineered through the leveraging of concepts including power, trust, and cognitive load.

We will move beyond the theory of “why” to also focus on the more technical “how.” This presentation is a deep dive by a demisexual person into “Head-First” play, focusing on the cognitive and sensory pathways that can and do have the potential to make BDSM, and especially rope, a viable, fun, empowering and fulfilling practice for those on the asexual and demisexual spectrums. This presentation will include 2 rope demos illustrating a few of the concepts we will be going over in class!
